Everything in the house is in perfect condition, and the owner Palitha is very kind and helps to resolve any issues one might have.
There are a few good restaurants nearby and bikes available to ride around the temples.

AustraliaGreat value for money. Rooms were clean and comfortable beds. The family running the hostel were lovely and very helpful. Greeted us with a welcome cup of tea on arrival and organised a tuk tuk tour to see the ancient city. Would definitely recommend staying here!

If you want to do excursions like a tour in the ancient city or a safari: they will arrange it and they make sure you have everything you’ll need. The chef also makes delicious meals. Maho was our best stay in Sri Lanka within 4 weeks. Large rooms, great sanitairy, and a lovely bed with pillows feeling like clouds.

Room was simple but clean, stairs into the bathroom are a bit steep. Aircon worked well.

Sri LankaNimal was really nice, hospitable and always willing go an extra mile, anything you need he will find it. He arrange a bicycle for free and went to see the temples around. Also companied me to see the sunset in his bike.
He is a good man will take you to eat at local and cheap places. Thanks 😊

Jaya Sri Maha Bodhi (Sinhala: ජය ශ්රී මහා බොධිය) is a sacred fig tree in the Mahamewna Gardens, Anuradhapura, Sri Lanka. It is said to be the southern branch from the historical Sri Maha Bodhi at Buddha Gaya in India under which Buddha attained Enlightenment. It was planted in 288 BC,and is the oldest living human-planted tree in the world with a known planting date. Today it is one of the most sacred relics of the Buddhists in Sri Lanka and respected by Buddhists all over the world.

Small but cozy and clean room in a beautiful colonial house. The owner was super welcoming and prepared incredible and abundant srilankian breakfasts during our staying. Excellent position very close to the Jaya Sri Maha Bodhi.

The place is a family driven guesthouse where it feels like home in Anuradhapura. The location is few miles near the Sacred Jaya Sri Maha Bodhiya and Ruwanweli seya to where you can go by foot. The owner lady is friendly and warmly welcoming of her guests. The rooms are super clean, calm surrounding with good ac leaded my stay so comfortable.
I highly recommend this place and wish to stay there again.

The accommodation is near to the Jaya Sri Maha Bodhi. The rooms are cleaned, comfortable and smell good.
Love the homemade breakfast. The host and his wife are friendly and hospitable.
If you stay here, please bring some doggy food and disposable plate to feed the 3 puppies and 1 dog roaming outside... they r so lovely. 🤭

The stay was good, featuring comfortable beds and a convenient location near the ancient sites and temples. It’s an ideal choice for those visiting pilgrimage sites like Ruwanwali Saya and Jaya Sri Maha Bodhiya. The family room was adequate for preparing our own snacks and hot drinks; unfortunately, we were not prepared for self-catering.

The owner of this place is very nice and friendly and gave us good service. The rooms are very clean. The working aunties are good and provide good service. The food is very tasty. We can request and get the food we like. It is about 1.5 km to Jaya Sri Maha Bodhi. You can go quickly. Near There is a lake where you can swim. It's the best place to stay for a cheap price.
