Best location & best rooms!

Very good location, large rooms and very clean.

Amazing Hotel!! PROS: 1. Easy communication - staff all speak perfect English so communication was no problem. They are all so pleasant, cordial, and friendly. 2. Amazing breakfast - The breakfast restaurant opened back up just a couple of days before we arrived. The breakfast was a 2 course gourmet korean meal!!!! One of the best hotel breakfasts I’ve had, And We travel a lot. There was also a western option. 3. Street noise not that bad - I was worried about street noise, but it wasn’t that bad at all. Only time I really heard people outside was on a Saturday night since that is the busiest. But even then, it was only for about 30 min or so. And then it died down. I’m a light sleeper and none of it bothered me. I slept really well. 4. Room size - comfortably large. Especially compared to a lot of the teeny tiny rooms in Seoul, which seems like the norm. 5. Great Location - inside MyeongDong Shopping street. So when you step out, you have access to tons of restaurants, spas, salons, 2 Olive Young stores, and shopping, etc and they all open really late. I was worried about reviews saying it’s crowded in front. As an introvert who hates crowds, I didn’t feel like it was overly crowded. There are lots of people around at night, but they’re all scattered so there’s plenty of space to walk in and out. 6. Exactly as pictured. Clean rooms. Nice design/ decor. 7. Free minibar drinks/ Korean almonds.

I had a wonderful time staying at Hotel First Stay Hongdae! It’s truly underrated hotel, the rooms are very clean and spacious, super cozy lounge, good atmosphere, convenient location, and their cozy bathtubs are just what you need after touring around the city whole day. All the receptionists were very friendly and helpful, but I would like to express special thanks to Youn Sunha. She is truly incredible, super nice person, and has a very cute smile that lights up the room and makes people around her feel very comfortable. Sunha was very helpful whenever I needed help with my trip, and my whole Seoul visit got so much better and more memorable because of her! In my opinion, this hotel is definitely worth more than two stars just because of the receptionist(s) at the very least!
