Really positive experience. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Great affordable hotel option for a solo female traveller. Location was fantastic, really close to Namdaemun Market and Myeongdong shopping area. I appreciated that there was laundry and detergent available.

The Prima Hotel is in a fantastic location in Jongno if you're a tourist. It was super close to the Insadong cultural area and walking distance from Gyeongbokgung Palace, Bukchon Hanok Village and Cheongdeokgung Palace. The staff were incredibly helpful and polite, helping us to book taxis and arrange a dinner reservation, and very understanding of our one-word Korean vocabulary (thank you). There was always someone on the desk who could help us in English. They even called our taxi when we left something behind in the lobby on our last day! Beds were comfortable, showers great, and there was a useful 24h coin-op laundry, and snack and vending machine. The cafe on site had coffees, pizza, fresh juice and mini pastries, a good option if you're after a very quick breakfast or evening meal and too tired to continue exploring! Also lots of art to look at in the public areas, so a nice ambience.

    Excellent value for money considering the location - it takes less than five minutes to walk to Myeongdong shopping streets and Myeongdong subway station. The check in kiosk was easy to use, and the air con and wifi in the room worked very well. The bathroom was a good size and the water pressure was great, and overall the room was clean and well presented. Staff were very quick to respond when I messaged with a query.

    The location was excellent for going out, nearby attractions like Changdeokgung Palace, Myeongdong Shopping Street and Ikseon-dong Cafes and shops were easily walkable. The subway was 8-10 mins walk away. Plenty of buses to get to other places. Lots of restaurants cafes, and convenient stores around the hotel. The room and bathroom was cleaned every day, the staff was friendly and helpful.

    Easy access to a 24hr convenient store and a coin laundry, which provides another option rather than using laundry services provided by the hotel. The location of the hotel was very central and was a short walk away from the main Myeongdong Shopping Street and various restaurants/cafes. Staff were extremely accommodating and communicated in a timely manner. Room service staff were also incredibly efficient and ensured that our room was always neat and tidy.

    The hostel has vibe and good aesthetics. Bunk beds are sturdy and the bathroom and shower were pristine. Location is cute and much nicer than Myeongdong shopping street. Communication pre arrival was good and the ladies twking care of the hostel were very helpful and welcoming.

    It is well placed, near three metro stations, and close to a bus station connecting to Seoul station and airport line, within walking distance from Myeongdong shopping street. Close to Namsan hanok village. Rooms are small, but comfy and well equipped, bathroom big enough. Staff is nice and friendly, they have coin laundry in the basement, drinking water supply on every floor, machine to charge t-money card and wow pass in the lobby (didn't use, but many people were). All in all, good and simple basis to explore Seoul.

    The location of this hotel was perfect! Many cool neighbourhoods within walking distance (it only took us a couple of minutes to get to Myeongdong shopping street) as well as subway stations. Staff was very friendly and willing to help with anything, and the room was clean. Not a big room, but decent enough for two people who spent most of their time outside. There was a small seating area which we both appreciated.
