Great location close to the Jujo subway station on a main line close to the Kyoto Station. Great staff and a special mention for Rie Hana. 25 Minute walk to Inari Torii Shrine. Get there early morning! Also get to the bamboo forrest early in the morning. The hotel can organise a taxi at really good rates. Our room was really big for Japan standards and well appointed. Staff were friendly and helpful and check in was easy. Our room was clean and comfortable although it did not have a view of the city. We paid for included breakfast which was a mixture of Japanese and Western food. The Hotel was also located near many restaurants but above Kyoto Station at the Skygardens had an excellent view of the city and great restaurants. The room was of a generous size for Japan, very clean, new towels everyday, nice additional services for free (e.g. coffee machine with matcha, ice cream, Yakult, ramen, laundry (drying for a fee though).
