While it’s a bit of a walk to Sendai station, it’s a really good walk, and there’s a subway station quite close as well. I was pleasantly surprised at the size of the twin room I booked as Japanese hotel rooms are often quite small, so we had plenty of room. There were many shops and restaurants nearby. Its a bit of a walk from Sendai Station but still walkable. The bus to Yamagata was just diagonally across the street.
