The Blossom Kumamoto is most accessible from Kumamoto Station and connects to the mall. It’s Front Office is very picturesque, with mountains of Kumamoto as backdrop. FO staff has good command of the english language, making communication less difficult. They are not shy to greet guests passing to and fro. Upon inquiry, staff recommended “Liebe” as “steak place,” and we had a blast! Steak was very good and not expensive, allowing us to bring our own wine upon payment of minimal corkage…bravo! The hotel is very secured with a big main door that requires guests’ keycards to open it and an elevator that automatically sets guests to their respective floors. Rooms have separate toilet and bath, well-provided with amenities/toiletries and it is possible to open the window to let Kumamoto’s cool winter breeze (brrrrr🥶) in. There are english-speaking channels available and coffee at the lounge is free-flowing.

The room we booked was huge : 300+sqft. It has space for two super single beds, sofa set, bathroom with walk in wardrobe concept. So much ancillary space for movement and all. Even have enough cuoboards for storage. Instead of a kettle, the hotel provides water boiler which allows you to control the temperature of the water to be kept at. It is also located so near the station.

The accommodation is freaking new, besides; all facilities is more than enough. You would have a separate toilet and bathroom, even the washer. Also, if you are hungry, there is a convenient store nearby, and the place provides the microwave together with dining tools in the room.

For those of use who enjoy an onsen this hotel and the others in this chain offer a great onsen in the middle of town. The facilities include a sauna and a cold plunge pool. We enjoyed the onsen facilities so much we went early in the morning, late afternoon and again before bed. Combined with the free ice cream lollies between 15.00 and midnight and you have a winner. We will be basing our next trip around these hotels.

    The hotel is not modern, it’s a lovely classic with an elegant feel. Our room, a king castle view, was very spacious and had a nice little sitting area by the window. There’s a variety of pillow choices which made the firm bed comfortable. The staff were very attentive and helpful. The location is excellent, a short walk to the castle, many food choices, shops and the Sakura Machi shopping centre. The tram is also a short walk and goes to Kumamoto station in one direction and Suizenji Park and Lake Kamiezu in the other.

    The hotel is next to Kumamoto Station, within Amu Plaza. Staff gave very clear instructions for us to find our way there. The rooms are big compared to standard Japanese hotel room with comfortable beds & pillows, bathroom & toilet are separated which I love. The public area is grand & nicely decorated. There are 2 laundry rooms next to both women & men public bath which provide so many washers/dryers. I will definitely come back if I'm going to Kumamoto again.

    The hotel is 5 min walking from JR Kumamoto station, and an easy starting point for every sightseeing in the city (easy to access public transportations). the room was as expected, with enough space for one person, and equipped with what you expect to find in an hotel like this in Japan. Toiletries are available at the reception. also good Japanese breakfast included in the price.

    Room is big and clean for a family of 4 adults with big suitcase. Comes with a washing machine and dryer. It is close to the tram station - Kawaramachi, which is just 3 stops away from Kumamoto station. There is a coffee place nearby the hotel for coffee people like me!

    Location wise this hotel is in the middle of the hustle and bustle of central Kumamoto so great if you are aiming for that. Getting from and to the JR Kumamoto station was also very straightforward and quick. The room was spacious and clean, with touches of luxury throughout. Size of the room was above average for Japan measures. Breakfast was also varied and the views from the breakfast area are grand (Kumamoto castle grand!).

    Very spacious rooms compared to typically small Japanese hotels. Location is very close to JR Kumamoto station but a 20 min walk to the main shopping and food area. Beds were comfortable!

    It is close to Kumamoto Station and AMU Plaza. All staff are nice. I left a charger adapter there on the first day I stay in Japan there and they posted it to another hotel where I stay on the last day in Japan. Service is excellent.
