    There are some very nice places near the harbor, especially...

    There are some very nice places near the harbor, especially around the plaza. While there are some good hotels to stay in, there are some real gems of private facilities as well. One that we used was just steps away from the plaza and perfect for the before cruise stay. Plan carefully and you can take the ferries to other area places.

    Location. We were sailing from trieste port and we could see the ship from the hotel and were able to walk there in a few minutes. Hotel room was huge and had a kitchen seperate
