Beautiful building, really nicely refurbished. The terrace out the back is amazing for watching the sunset over the Tuscan hills. Parking was a massive bonus in this location. It’s in a perfect location 5minutes walk from all the main sites, but at the same time is really quiet. The breakfast was great and the staff were really helpful.

It was ABSOLUTELY PERFECT. The people in the hotel were extremely kind and helpful. Breakfast was great, coffee delicious, and very close to the center of Siena. I would return without hesitation. Loved it.

We appreciated that this beautiful former Tuscan monastery was convenient to Sienna, but was peaceful and quiet and surrounded by beautiful open space. We enjoyed roaming the grounds with its numerous outdoor seating, walking and lounging areas, as well as the outdoor saltwater pool and attached lounge area. The interior spaces are elegant but comfortable and inviting. We were upgraded to a junior suite which we jokingly referred to as the "Cinderella suite" as we had to climb approx. 65 steps to get to our rooms, but we couldn't complain as it was comfortable and had everything we needed (excluding large windows as it seemed as if the suite was originally attic space), with a sitting room, walk in closet, and large sleeping room and bathroom. The breakfast buffet had a large selection of both hot and cold, savory and sweet items, with fresh coffee and tea made to order, and seating options provided both indoors and outdoors. The numerous staff were helpful, friendly and polite, and were quick to check to see if we needed anything. We were even provided a tour of the attached church by the caretaker :) with translation provided by one of the wonderful ladies that work at the front desk. What an amazing adventure!

From the moment we walked in, we felt welcome! The rooms were very nice: full of history but with all the modern facilities, and very, very clean. The location is very central, yet in a slightly more quiet corner of the city. Just a 5 minute walk to the main square, making it a perfect place to explore Siena from! Would definitely recommend!

Siena Cathedral is beautiful from the outside, but you’ve got to feast your eyes on the interior. Elaborately detailed, with a chapel by Michelangelo and floors and frescoes covered in colourful scenes, it comes together in a dizzying spectacle.     Siena cathedral is a gem.

    Siena cathedral is a gem. It is as beautiful inside as outside. I highly recommend the dome tour if you’ve a head for heights and can manage stairs. The small groups of 15 are led by a guide who will tell you a little about the history of the building during the 30 minute tour.The views of the city are spectacular from the roof . There are examples of the tools and materials used to build the cathedral as well as some of the original architects designs evident on some of the walls. To see the paintings of the dome from up close, is well worth the effort of the climb.

    Great location of the apartments, go out, do few steps and you can enjoy marvellous view to the Siena cathedral. Many restaurants in the area for breakfast or other meal. Clean spacious room on the ground floor. Nice owner, clean room, soft towels. Recommended.

    We loved our welcome on arrival after a big day getting here. The nightshift guy on Thursday 28th helped us plan our next day and sent us the Google map directions to our cooking class at Castello Tricerchi, Pienza, Monte Pulciano and Bagno Vignoni. Great day. We needed to taxi to train station as too far to walk with bags. We easily walked to Piazza Del Campo and the Siena Cathedral, highly recommend a wee guided tour. Breakfast each morning was outstanding, so much to choose from. We loved everything here, including our room.
