The location is great...5 minutes walk from the Ufizi Museum, Duomu at 8 minutes walk, dozens of great restaurants at walk distance.... The staff was really thoughtful and even had a portuguese speaking person at the hotel reception. The room was incredible, spacious and with free amenities (apart from alcohol).

Ponte Vecchio

Peruse the shops perched above the River Arno on this pedestrian bridge. Dating back to 972, its history is the stuff of storybooks. Ponte Vecchio’s seen it all from noble feuds to ruinous floods. Once a market where vendors sold meat, the smell of raw flesh tossed in the Arno disgusted the Medici dukes. Today’s retailers are much less carnivorous (they’re jewellers).

If you can take the special tour along the secret passage from the Uffizi to the Pitti Palace. The walkway is along the windows atop the Ponte Vecchio. If shopping for gold jewelry etc. along the Ponte Vecchio, be sure to shop around.

Ponte Vecchio is an amazing spot to buy jewelry from jewelers that have been in the business for centuries. The price of gold is standardized so not much point going from each place to ask about the price of gold, instead find a store that specializes in what you're looking for and has the style you like. Some places specialize in gems, others gold, others vintage pieces.

Go really early for great photos without crowds or sunset and night. Bellisimo. Be careful when walking over the bridge in the day as it gets very crowded and artists put their drawings on the ground and if you walk on it, you buy it!

You have to buy something from 18-karat gold here☺️! It’s not cheap but gold is tradition in Florence ( and leather). But be prepared that it’s only not crowded in the morning (when only few shops are open though).

Our hotel was adjacent to this attraction so we had a daily view of it. The photo shown by booking.com does not resemble what it looked like in December. The bridge itself is wall to wall jewellery shops. A good time to visit is before or after they close. The shop fronts change back to the original wooden frontage and makes for a good photo.

Everything! Amazing location, over looking Ponte Vecchio and the Arno River. Walking distance everything and the apartment is very modern, well kept and felt like home. We will definitely be recommending Vasari Suites to all our family and friends and we will define be returning to Florence and staying here again.

Location is incredible, so close to the Ponte Vecchio, Uffizi and easy walking distance to everything else. I don’t think you could do better with location. If your bags are heavy then you may need to work out an alternative as 3 flights of stairs plus another to access the apartment are a challenge. Thanks for carrying my bag up, I appreciate it! Kitchen area is very compact but that is probably to be expected.

Excellent location in a quiet street close to the Ponte Vecchio and all of Firenze's best attractions. 10-15min walk from the station. The apartment is excellent value - for the able-bodied - the stone staircase up to it is very steep with the door to the apartment part way up. I would happily recommend it. Ceiling height is very low so tall people might struggle a bit. Hosts Eduardo and Olga were very accommodating and prompt in responding.

The location is beyond exceptional. Very close to Ponte Vecchio and popular streets yet in a quiet area. The staff very accomodating and responsive to communication. They adjusted the check in time to our convenience. The apartment is basic and simply furnished but had all that we needed for our stay.

Located in the best place that can be imagined. Ponte Vecchio can be seen from the windows and the cute balcony. The Uffizi is just a couple of steps from the apartment as well as most popular places for shopping and sightseeing. The building has an elevator which is winner feature. Thanks to nice team that kindly answered all our questions and we’ve had the easiest and comfy check-in. I’m a Florence returner and this place helped me to feel the Florence experience like first time!

A gorgeous, spacious apartment! Tastefully and beautifully decorated. This was perfect for our family of 4. A short walk to the Ponte Vecchio and other fabulous attractions that Florence has to offer. Lovely toiletries in the bathrooms and the place was spotlessly clean. The price was also very good value for such a fab place. Highly recommended and would stay here again.

The rooms are a fabulous size and really well taken care of. The breakfast is fantastic - really good local foods, pastries and some hot foods if you like that too! Excellent coffee! The staff are always so helpful and friendly and the location of this hotel is supreme! you have a wonderful view out over Florence from the tower each night where we enjoyed some lovely drinks and its 2 mins to the Ponte Vecchio or fewer than 10 to the Duomo. Brilliant hotel and we will be back again!

Hotel della Signoria is ideally located at the end of one of the oldest streets in Florence, Via delle Terme. It’s just a short walk to the Ponte Vecchio, the Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore, and Brunelleschi’s iconic dome, making it a perfect base for exploring the city on foot. The central setting allows you to step straight into Florence’s history, art, and vibrant atmosphere.
