Don't bother, too many stall of crap, too many stalls of same same food. Had been hoping for proper artisan stalls, dint find any just stalls with rude stall holders. In fairness the Christmas ornament stall were fantastic, so lovely to deal with, but other than that the stall holders spoke to customers like they owned them a living. Very very disappointed. Very relaxing and enjoyable.
Very relaxing and enjoyable. During the summer months, if the weather is good, it is nice to buy a take away coffee/lunch and bring it over to the green area in the square. There is seating but it is also nice to chill on the grass. The place is buzzing with people of all ages and if you are lucky, many wonderfully talented musicians will be playing/performing in the surrounding area. In the winter and in particular at Christmastime, there is a Christmas market and the place is amazing. Shopping in Galway is the best with a huge variety of shops in the city centre and plenty of shopping centres. The buzz is just amazing. The hotel decor gives an art Deco vibe. Our room was a good size, spotless, with a stocked mini bar in the Smeg fridge and tea and coffee facilities. The heated outdoor pool was an added bonus.
