I was recently in Greece for my best friends wedding. It also was my very first time visiting the country. My second accommodation in the country was the Nautilux Hotel. From the moment I walked onto the property and began to walk towards the entrance, I was met by a friendly face. His name was Nikitas. He welcomed me to the hotel and walked me to reception to get checked in. I expected a wait bc I was a few hours early. Areta was another friendly and helpful face who worked magic and got a room for me very quickly so I did not have to wait. Through out my stay she gave me a lot of helpful advice on places to go around to shop for a white dress:) . I also must mention Iliana, she was so nice and truly interested in how my stay was and if there was anything that she could do to make the stay more comfortable in the future. All the people that I encountered made my stay that much more enjoyable. The hotel is beautiful but the staff are wonderful.

The hotel is in the perfect location - one step outside the door and you’ll be soaking up all the atmosphere of Rethymno’s old town! The standard room we booked was spacious, comfortable and very pretty. It was perfect and had everything we needed! The team is really lovely. Athena made sure our room was ready for an early check-in. On top of that, they were welcoming and friendly to talk to. Thank you for making our stay even more special than it was! Would definitely go back :)

Very beautiful room in a historic building, very spacious and impeccably clean. coffee, tea and water always available. The staff were all very professional, close, very welcoming and available for anything we needed. The lounge has an amazing restaurant with different dining rooms, all with impressive decoration and a beautiful garden in between that it is also a cozy and idyllic space for summer and spring. The restaurant staff, where they serve a delicious breakfast, has a 5 stars Service and tasting meals are a unique experience. Located in the best part of Rethymno down town in a beautiful historic city. Colours were something that Impress us a lot and the hotel new how to use them in a very apropriate way.

    The house is beautiful inside. The beds and couch are really comfortable, and the rooftop is perfect for relaxing. The kitchen has everything you need, and the shower is good. It is perfectly located right beside the beach and a short walk from the old town and Venetian Harbour. Vagelis is really helpful. Make sure to ask him for recommendations for Rethymno and the wider area.

    Everything. The house was perfect and the hosts were nice. Sleep was good with comfortable beds. In the house there was literally anything someone might need in vacation. The house in general was very comfy and the position was very good for the nightlife (under 5 Min walk for the Old Venetian Harbour). Overall it was a comfortable house to live in and also very modern, unlike many other houses I have been in. Really recommended

    The apartment was near the beach, the taverns, the Venetian Harbour, and the Old town. The hosts are very nice, friendly, and hospital. They help us with all we need and on the last day, they let us leave our luggage until we go to the airport at 4p.m. The apartment was very big and clean, and they often cleaned it in that week of our stay. The hosts waited for us with juice and water. For sure we will stay there the next time. Perfect location.

    The hotel was a short walk from the port and so not far from the old town and Venetian harbour. We arrived late on a ferry but our key and room details were left for us at reception The breakfast was excellent and plentiful with lots of choice and the young lady on reception in the morning, Agape was delightful. Very clean room and comfortable beds

    We stayed for two nights in a Deluxe Double Room with a side sea view, It was a large, well equipped, room with a very good view of the sea (side sea view is too modest a description). The staff were helpful and breakfast was good - Maia's "fried eggs" were imaginatively served and delicious! The hotel is well placed for walking to the Old Town. There are plenty of restaurants nearby and those surrounding the Venetian Harbour are a 10 minute stroll away. There is a large car park across the road from the hotel.

    Located in a small little lane in the Old Town but in walkable distance to the Central Bus Station ( 8 min) and the Venetian Harbour (12 min). Tge whole property is very quiet.The maisonette apartments I got had space, was nicely furnished and quite comfortable. Nice big kitchen in the corner. Modern and clean bathroom. The friendly owners reaction per message was quick and promptly to explain checkin around midnight, very friendly cleaning lady. I felt very relaxed here.

    The apartment was absolutely beautiful, from the view, to the furnishings. Lots of love and attention to detail has gone into the whole place, and it's in prime position on the stunning venetian harbour of Rethymno. We received complimentary food and wine on arrival, and as we left we received lovely souvenirs. Both wonderful gestures that went above and beyond our expectations. We will definitely be visiting Rethymno again and will 100% stay at Vista Del Porto on our return.
