A comfortable, clean and convenient stop when driving from Scotland to south of England and leaving in the afternoon. Just what we were looking for, we felt Lucky to find It.

Byron Bar features oak panelling and an historic fireplace. The Courtyard Restaurant has a fine menu, and oak beams. Each en suite room at The Bridge has digital TV.

We were met by Keiran who made us feel very welcome. Our room was ready for check-in @3pm on arrival and was clean and tidy. We ate in the restaurant on 3 separate evenings (including NY Eve), the staff were excellent (many thanks to Gemma & Tom for looking after us) and the food was top notch with good portions and even a few cocktails, which in my opinion were very reasonably priced.
