It seems to be quite a feature of this property and they all work hard to maintain the standard. We also ate in the restaurant in the evening and the quality of the food was high. The breakfast was excellent too. Bramley toiletries in the room were a nice luxury. Being in the middle of Melbourne was a perfect location, amazing places to eat out. Beautiful walks in the area too. Melbourne Hall is worth a visit, great view at the mill pond. Icing on the cake we actually spoke to Johnny Vegas on his field of dreams, which was our inspiration to visit this stunning village National trust Calle Abbey a short drive away too.
