A pleasant garden space to visit in the centre of Edinburgh.

A pleasant garden space to visit in the centre of Edinburgh. A short visit is all that's needed, since you'll probably be moving on to other areas unless you particularly want to chill out there and absorb the history around you.

Charlotte Square is the Financial Capital of Scotland, but it also home to some of the finest Georgian Architecture to be found in the whole of the United Kingdom. It has also got a Private Garden in the centre which hosts the Art Festival in August. At the centre of the Private Gardens is a statue of Prince Albert commissioned by Queen Victoria following Albert's death.
