The food was excellent with a good choice of meals. Great location, just over the road from a large and interesting lake with plenty of wildlife. Just a few minutes from Beaulieu, Bucklers Hard, Exbury Gardens and Brockenhurst. Very comfortable and has a lovely attached conservatory which is a sun trap. Hosts had supplied milk, eggs and bread, as well as tea and coffee. A beautiful garden, and a big room with tea making facilities and a fridge. Very reasonable price. Great location! A fantastic cafe just across the road for breakfast and a very easy base to explore Beaulieu, Bucklers Hard and the New Forest. The staff, particularly Nicky on reception, were wonderful, smiling all the time, very efficient and going above expectations. The dining room for breakfast and dinner was beautiful, looking out over the river. Food was delicious. My room was very nice and very clean.
