Breakfast was à la carte and it was delicious. We loved the welcoming and beautiful interior. A real "hygge" moment. It would be wonderful if more places around the world adopted the hospitality concept of Kanalhuset. The evening meals at the place are an unforgettable experience.

An exceptionally friendly hotel. The hotel has an incredibly kind and trusting attitude toward its guests. At breakfast, no one checks whether the guest has paid. There is no bartender at the bar — guests serve themselves and simply write down what they’ve taken on a piece of paper. On the staircase, there’s a large box of cookies on every floor, and guests are free to take as many as they like. This kind of approach makes guests feel truly great.
