We had a lovely time. The property itself is one of a kind, has beautiful garden, the boat experience is a must try! Service was exceptional, everyone we met there were so polite and nice. I loved my little nature getaway to Rock&Wood! The location was perfect for me (close to the start of relatively quiet and peaceful hiking trails, walkable to Starbucks and West Lake, but far away enough from West Lake to avoid the HUGE amounts of people). Sally, the host, was so welcoming and helpful- helping me to navigate when my driver couldn't find the place, offering lots of suggestions and tips, and even helping me when I left my boots behind. It's a homestay style, so breakfast was family style with other guests. It was delicious and filling.

    The hotel has an excellent location, just a few steps from the metro station and within a pleasant walking distance to West Lake and other major attractions. The main bus stations serving destinations such as Longjing Village and the Six Harmonies Pagoda are also close by. The room was spacious with a comfortable bed. Breakfast was delicious, offering a variety of options. The staff were very helpful and kind. I would definitely stay here again!

    The location is quiet and peaceful and you can hike to Jiuxi and Longjing village directly from the accommodation. The staff helped us to find the route and were also willing to give other recommendations.
