Everything was fantastic: the food, activities, hosts, accommodations, and environment... Ryan and Danny were awesome and very knowledgable hosts and the cooking staff were very talented and friendly. The hiking was unparalleled and the view from our rondavel was breath-taking. We had no reason to leave and immersed ourselves in the experience for several days of hiking, swimming and relaxing. If you enjoy hiking and aspire to hike the Central Drakensberg mountains, this is THE place to stay.

The spacious bed and breakfast is equipped with a satellite flat-screen TV. The bed and breakfast offers bed linen, towels and housekeeping service. We had a great time here! It is well located to explore the area. We did a day trip to Sani Pass from here. We felt very comfortable in the cottage and slept very well. Judy is an awesome host, she is kind and caring, had great tips for the area, and made us feel so welcome :)

At the farm stay, certain units are equipped with a kettle and chocolates or cookies. What a lovely cottage. Interior was gorgeous, everything we needed and incredibly comfortable. Garden was glorious and the kids loved the hot tub. Farm shop and veggie garden an added bonus!

The location is superb with spectacular views across to the mountains. The property lacks nothing for the comfort of its guests and the staff are attentive and reliable. We found no negatives.

A toaster, a fridge and stovetop are also offered, as well as a kettle. At the farm stay, units include bed linen and towels. Not a single thing stands out that wasn't top notch. The owners are welcoming, warm and friendly, and offer any help they can, handing out eggs from their chicken and offering a canoe for great lake trips. One of the most beautiful and exquisite stays of my whole trip.

I love the fact that there is games inside the facility. And karaoke night was very entertaining and we very much enjoyed ourselves

Featuring a restaurant, the property also has a garden, as well as an indoor pool and a sauna. A terrace, an in-house bar and shared lounge are available.

At Fordoun Hotel and Spa guests are welcome to take advantage of a hot tub. You can play table tennis and tennis at this 5-star hotel, and the area is popular for cycling. even in a room that was not the best in the hotel( I have already been at this hotel in a top suite), I found the room excelent and with all the practical things of a suite.

Offering privacy, all chalets are individually decorated and offer views of the lake and the mountains. Each chalet has a fully equipped kitchen, and a seating area with fireplace. Large glass sliding doors lead onto a wooden deck or patio. Some of the units have spa bath. We stayed 3 nights at the bushman lodge with our two daughters, age 2 and 4. In the five weeks we’ve travelled the country, this accommodation was high in our top 3. It’s remote, but it’s spacious rooms and balcony with jacuzzi, the tranquillity of nature, the views, delicious food, etc, the whole family loved it.
