On our first night we had one of the best meals of our entire 6 week trip throughout South Africa! The manager, Fred, and his staff were all very welcoming and helpful. We were visiting on the last two days of the season, and we loved the property, very private and safe, and the grounds were charming. We will look forward to a future visit and highly recommend the property when visiting the Addo Elephant park and the region!

We absolutely loved our stay at Zuurberg, and cannot recommend the place enough for anyone looking for a beautiful, relaxing place to stay near Addo Elephant Park. The surroundings of the property are gorgeous, nestled in the mountains, and the property itself is also beautiful. Our bedroom looked just like the photos and was very comfortable, and had everything we needed for our stay. Customer service was impeccable and we felt welcome and well looked after from arrival. Alexandra was superb and helped us not only with information about our stay but also with extra tips for our ongoing journey. All the staff were lovely and always ready to help. We also did a whole day game drive and an elephant encounter, both experiences organized by the property and both excellent. Zuurberg was fantastic and we look forward to coming back!
