The staff were friendly and gave good suggestions on places to visit, things to do, restaurants to try etc. The hotel is in a good location to access different hiking trail start points with short train rides (5-10 minutes walking distance to closest train station Sibir). The hotel offered wellness facilitates at a reasonable price. Highly recommended for staying in High Tatras!

Hotel Patria in Strbske Pleso houses a restaurant with Slovakian cuisine, a billiards room and spa area accessible free of charge including a gym, a sauna and an indoor pool. The ski slopes are 200 metres away. The hotel is renoveted. All was clean and nice. The sauna experience was very good. I have enjoyed The brekfest which was diversed and deliciois. The parking is free of charg even if you park in early hours before check in and you can leave car thill the end of the check out day.
