I was contacted at the arrival day via the receptionist and agreed on when we arrive to the property, and got there the keys seamlessly via a reception desk. Staff was very kind and friendly, shown everything, introduced all need to know, where are wood for the grill, etc. The two apartments were clean, fully equipped, comfortable. 4 apartments had an assigned wellness building with infra sauna, jacuzzi. The garden is well maintained, was a perfect spot for family and friends getaway. oh, almost forgot, excellent restaurants in the nearby!

Set in a Renaissance mansion from the 16th century, Chateau Appony is quietly situated in Oponice, 20 km away from Nitra. It offers free access to the wellness area with a pool, hot tub and 3 different saunas. Beautiful setting, breakfast was very good and varied. The restaurant for dinner was outstanding and the staff attentive and knowledgable. The hotel facilities are very good. The surrounding hikes made it even more appealing.

SPA facilities include a Finnish sauna, a steam bath, a jacuzzi and a fitness center. There is also an elegant relaxation area, massage rooms, a bathhouse for an aromatic bath and a private cinema. An outdoor pool is also available in the summer months. The building is unique and beautiful. The food was great, and staff was exceptionally kind. My only regret is not staying longer!
