The facilities at the hotel are top-notch, with everything we needed to relax and unwind after a day of outdoor activities. We particularly enjoyed the sauna and hot tub, which were perfect for soothing sore muscles. The food at the hotel was also excellent, with a variety of options for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. We appreciated the effort put into accommodating our dietary needs and preferences. What really set this hotel apart, however, was the attention paid to families with children. The staff were incredibly friendly and patient with our kids, and went above and beyond to make them feel welcome. They provided extra snow suits and boots for the kids, which was very helpful, and even had a special menu with kid-friendly options. Our children loved playing in the snow and exploring the nearby forest, and we felt completely at ease knowing they were safe and happy. Overall, we highly recommend this hotel on the Alta River for anyone looking for a relaxing and memorable getaway in Norway. The staff, facilities, and location are all top-notch, and the attention paid to families with children really made our stay special. We hope to return someday and experience it all again!

Holmen Husky is a small, family-run business who has been working with dogs since the 80s. Some of us have even grown up in the dogyard and on the sled. It is much more than an activity or an experience that has got us all addicted. it’s a feeling that must be experienced. Excellent overnight stay. The chalets are luxorious. Very friendly staff and fantastic breakfast. Dogs of course are very special.

Sorrisniva also has a sauna and 2 bookable, outdoor hot tubs for warming up and relaxation. Amaising expirience- spned the night in the ice room lile an iglu and feeling verry warm all the time. I loved the fact that there is a huge relax area where you can sit, chat and spend time until you are reddy ro go to sleep. Excellent free tea and coffe is a huge bonus
