A last comment: This hotel is a good base for exploring thermal water pools. There are at least 15 "balnearios" at less than hour from the hotel, and many of them accessible with cheap and efficient public transportation, including the famous site of Grutas Tolantongo.

The hotel is good value for a short stay over, the staff were very pleasant and helpful. Free parking is a great bonus. It wasn't difficult to find and easily accessible from the highway. Our room was at the front of the hotel and very close to the road with a lot of traffic so we asked to change rooms and the staff were very considerate and gave us a new room at the back of the hotel.
