Built with wooden materials, Royal Island’s villas feature a private patio with sitting area and views of the Indian Ocean. Each room has a TV and an en suite bathroom with a bathtub and shower. Excellent 3 night visit at Royal Island. Fantastic service from all the staff, in particular Prasad, our host, who looked after all our needs as well as Osam and Alibaba - our guides on a snorkeling trip. We also thoroughly enjoyed the band that played most night (Aga and Joyce) and some of the other activities. We had the all-inclusive option and food and drink choices were good for a short trip - if we had stayed longer, we might have tried the a la carte options. The room was very comfortable (sunset beach villa) and clean, with the beach just footsteps away. We snorkeled a bit on the house reef, which was very nice but the snorkeling trip was brilliant (saw turtles, sharks, dolphins etc). The transfer to the island was smooth - we had to wait an hour for the domestic flight to a nearby island, but were then immediately ushered to the speedboat for the final 10 minute ride. On our return, the domestic flight was going to be late, so Prasad organized us to take a speedboat to another nearby resort to catch a sea-plane direct to Male, ensuring we were on time for our international flight.

The resort features 109 bungalows, spread across the beach, gardens and lagoon. Options range from romantic overwater bungalows with steps into the ocean to spacious two-bedroom family bungalows with private pools and butler service. All bungalows offer complimentary Wi-Fi, air conditioning, sundecks and outdoor bathrooms with Maldivian-style rain showers. Everything Staff at reception marvelous. Jet ski tour was brilliant. Room clear and cosy.

From the arrival and departure (reception to Cowrie Restaurant and the housekeeping) They always greet us wnd complimented us all the time. Shoutout to the staff who accommodate and made our trip more memorable. especially to these sir and ma'am: santoshi julieta jennifer mj aryani jegan and to the staff who served and welcomed us everytime in the Cowrie Restaurant.

The island is amazing and picture perfect and the houses and facilities are very well designed and well maintained. Our house master Yousra was an angel, she went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed even before we ask for it! Do not worry about leaving important items behind because whatever it is she will get it for you in no time.

Featuring a private beach area and views of sea, Dhonfulhafi Beach View is a recently renovated guest house located in Maalhos, a few steps from Bikini Beach. There is a private entrance at the guest house for the convenience of those who stay. The accommodation provides a 24-hour front desk, luggage storage space and currency exchange for guests. We have been for the second time in the hotel - really friendly and helpful stuff, the hotel located exactly by the beach; we had all we needed for 3* hotel; many thanks to the owner!
