They told us of local events and parades happening, helped with logistics, and assisted us on so many occasions; they truly went above & beyond. Secondly the balcony is superb - it exceeded our expectations and although the lake is small it is brimming with wildlife and you get a great view of it all from the balcony (which is right outside the room). This was like a wildlife safari all in itself! If you’re into bird spotting, this place is a must 🦜 The room was truly huge, clean, spacious, the bed comfy. It is near enough to the main road for easy access but not noisy at all and you and can’t see the main road, while the walk up the track to the house in the dark is lit by fireflies. There are several shops and a good restaurant on the road, and the bus stop is very close for getting to the nearby towns, villages and beach stops.

One of the most beautiful properties where we stayed in Sri Lanka. We had Chalet No. 1 as a family and it was very spacious and very well designed. What an unique experience ! Super friendly stuff, our host Damith was doing his best to make sure we had the best experience. They arrange Safari tours as well. Very quiet location.
