There are 2 indoor hot springs baths and an open-air bath at the property. Everything was great, especially the inhouse onsens.

Rooms feature tatami-mat flooring, comfortable futon bedding and paper sliding screens. They are fitted with an LCD TV and a safe. Bathroom facilities are shared, and the public baths are open 16:00-22:00 and 06:00-09:00 daily. It was exactly what you’d want from a temple stay. Out of the hustle and bustle and into nature and peace.

200 metres from Kumanokodo Nakahechi Museum of Art, 民宿 和合 Minshuku WAGO is a recently renovated property set in Tanabe and offers air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi and private parking. It is located 29 km from Kamitonda Concert Hall and features full-day security. The guest house has parking on-site, a hot tub and a shared kitchen. Ike is a great host. Great dinner for a reasonable price. Breakfast and bento box for lunch on the trek available, both good. We'd visit again and recommend this place to others!

The ryokan features rooms with air conditioning, free private parking and free WiFi. It was such an amazing, unique experience. The monks are most welcoming and accommodating. Ryokan style rooms with futons, which can be a bit hard, as expected (part of the experience). The place looks incredible, still attains so much history and ancient culture within its walls. It was incredible to be a part of that for a bit and attending the ceremonies was the highlight of our stay.

The property features quiet street views and is 2 km from Kasai Park and 3.6 km from Kii Kimoto Castle Ruins. The guest house has a hot tub and bicycle parking. Everything was very nice. The room is nice and big and the jacuzzi was wonderful! Wish we could have stayed longer!

I definitely stay again, maybe even a night more to enjoy the beautiful countryside.
