Lake Ashi is 4.9 km from the villa. The opportunity to stay in a Japanese villa, in a great location by Lake Ashi, with a kitchen and plenty of space was amazing. Then, the hot springs shower and tub was super special. It truly was healing to our bodies that were a bit worn out from travel. Yes, stay here! We hope to stay longer next time. It was a little hard to find. Yet, a kind gentleman was watching out for us and directed us.

This is a must place in Japan. Told the host on our way out we can’t wait to come back to this absolute gem. Private onsen, beautiful traditional japanese home and the sweetest host. There is a large communal bath with a sauna which offers a self Loyly style sauna. Good location next to the beach and to the great Buddha. The hotel was practically new. The installations are good. Room was clean and big and the bar and dining area was beautiful.
