The location of the hotel is perfect for nature lovers especially if you are a hiker, cyclist or a biker - you can truly enjoy the beauty of the mountains. View from the hotel is great. We visited in the summer and the pool and a hot tub was a great relaxation for us. Room was spacious and cozy. Breakfast was tasty and there were a lot of choices.

Owner very welcoming, organised a lock up garage for my motorbike. Spacious hotel with good size bedroom ang bathroom. Rooftop area to relax or dry your washing etc.

Very clean, fresh and comfortable place, with breathtaking views, in a very noise-free location, though with private parking & very close to Tolmin city center & emerald Soča river & lake. Nice English & Slovene speaking owners who welcomed us with local yummies, fruit & super wine made in SLOVEnia. Well equipped kitchen. Spacious bathroom, bidet including. Relaxing swing at the balcony. We loved our stay there. Will go again with great pleasure.

Fantastic modern apartment on the ground floor with fabulous outside seating area, they really have thought of everything, inside the apartment it was spacious with fully equipped kitchen area, spotless and comfortable beds. Outside dinning area and sun lounges to relax in after long days exploring the beautiful area. Super friendly host. Highly recommend

Very convenient location for the Juliana Trail. Check-in was made it easy for me. Lots of facilities including a drying rack that could be placed outside in the sun to dry clothes. Excellent kitchen and big cosy lounge that had two single beds as well. Very modern shower and big bathroom. Modern apartment that was very well equipped. Two comfortable sofas to relax on. The main bedroom was large and well designed. This is a lovely bright apartment and very good value for money. Quiet and lots of lovely birdsong.

Great location and property. The host really cares about the property and you can see a lot of care has gone into it to make it clean. Great space to relax in and hot tub was a lovely bonus.

We were staying in Hotel Lovec (sister hotel of Kompass) Room was super with heated floors in bathrooms! Beautiful relaxing indoor pool and jacuzzi. Had a very luxurious breakfast and a very nice peaceful stroll near Lake Bled. Definitely recommend this hotel for a relaxing romantic stay!

We had a family room with a jacuzzi bath, which had plenty of space for 4. The rooms have air conditioning and lots of storage space. The breakfasts were nice and the staff were all very pleasant.

We’ve stayed in dozens of properties all over the world and the Captains Lodge was our favourite. Stunning location, amazing outdoor area, great river view, relaxing hot tub, comfortable beds, well equipped kitchen, spacious lounge area and a lovely host. Just wish we’d been able to stay longer.
