The luxurious 5-star Muckross Park Hotel and Spa is located in Killarney's National Park. Muy lujoso pero demasiado clásico para mi gusto.

Nestled on the shores of Loch Lein, The Lake Hotel has magnificent mountain views. Just 2km from Killarney, a restaurant and the hotel has en suite rooms. An amazing hotel, located on a lake affording views that are beautiful and ever changing as the day progresses. Room had both an amazing view and was beyond spacious. We wish we could have stayed longer. The hotel is close to all the main visit areas for Killarney and is on the Ring of Kerry route for those wishing to drive the route themselves as we did. Breakfast was comprehensive and well executed. For those driving hybrid or electric cars, the hotel has four fast charge parking bays, but you will need the right cable.

Breakfast is nicely presented, delicious and fast. Staff are very attentive. No negatives at all. Concierge is top notch.

The Kenmare Bay Hotel is a 5-minute walk from the heart of Kenmare. It offers a leisure centre with a pool (Children's hours from 9am to 7pm daily), gym and hot tub, a restaurant and free parking. Staff were lovely and very helpful. Lovely hotel. Family friendly. Food was lovely. Rooms very clean. 5 minutes walk to town.

Gleneagle Killarney boasts a 25-metre swimming pool, an 18-hole pitch and putt, and 2 tennis courts. Situated on the edge of Killarney National Park, the Gleneagle Arena is attached to the hotel. First rate breakfast served effectively and by pleasant people. Irish breakfast best served by staff rather than lifting lids and causing a mess myself.
