Located within 32 km of Quinta de San Pedro Alejandrino and 35 km of Santa Marta Gold Museum, Eco Hostal Kuima features rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in El Zaino. I’ve been traveling around colombia for the past month and Kuima is one of the best places I’ve stayed! We stayed for one night before entering Tayrona National Park, and then one more night when we left the park. The staff is incredibly kind and helpful, and stored our larger bags for us while we were in the park at no extra cost. At about 2km from the entrance to the park, it’s a great location - far enough away from the madness of the entrance but close enough to walk or hop on a very quick bus ride, also with some good restaurant options in close walking distance. The rooms themselves are very comfortable, the pool was wonderful, wifi worked great, and the breakfast was simple but delicious. We found the price to be more than fair. Would highly recommend Kuima to anyone!

Kudos to Dario at the reception who made the checkin easy and gave a lot of info, goof food, reasonable prices, try the fruit bowl! You’ll see what i say after you order it, two jaccuzies, hot and cold, and a nice view to crash after long walk to Cabo Juan

The hostel far exceeded our expections with a wonderful greeting from our host, Carmen, who was always happy, smiling and helpful. Due to the price we paid, we expected a much cheaper feeling, but everything from the facilities to the personnel was excellent. While there's no food on the premises a small restaurant very nearby has one of the best menus of the day, we've had in Colombia! The breakfast on site was per plate instead of a buffet, which meant it was freshly made.

Lots of nature and would recommend to families that love nature. It’s very tranquil! We loved the place.

At the country house, units are equipped with bed linen and towels. Nice clean Hotel. The AC was ice cold. TV was good. Bed was comfy. Reception staff is great. Just across the main road in Buritaca where all the buses from Santa Marta stop. Close to the party hostel Rio. Better accommodation than a hostel. About 25 minutes pleasant walk to the Buritaca river/ beach. Reasonably priced. Highly recommended.
