From the time we arrived,we just loved our host's friendliness,the accomodation(Milk Shed) was superb,it was perfectly situated under this huge oak tree,which helped so much,because of the high humidity.We were trapped in this mountain serenity and it was exactly what we needed.

Our host, Alet, could not have been more welcoming or accommodating. He was very friendly and happy to answer our questions and queries. The isolated location was just what we were looking for. The safari tent was well kitted out and the supply of wood perfect for fuelling the braai and hot tub. Alet even gave us fresh dry wood when our pile got very soggy due to torrential rain!

Location was key for us as we had a team competing in W2W, the cottage was perfect! The outlook over the fields with the impala and springbok was magic. Unfortunately we didn’t get to enjoy the hot tub but it was beautiful!

    We stayed in midweek and had the spa almost to ourselves, we so enjoyed the sauna/steam room and cold plunge and not to forget the Victorian bath The terraced pools with the little waterfalls are very nice, bonus we could use them until 23.00 Beds were super comfortable Perfect getaway and best destress/detox

    The staff were exceptional, the baths and the whole area at the spa were clean. The restaurant had great food, casino were a blast. The hotel and grounds were well looked after and did give us a holiday restfull experience. Our whole experience was awesome. The museum is a must to visit.

    The quietness and the ability to relax. What I and the wife needed. The cottages got everything you need and more. Very comfortable bed. The braai facility and hot tub close to each other with the great view was the best.
