Everything was perfect and beyond amazing! Photos don’t do it’s justice for sure. We didn’t know what to expect when we booked it without much planning and not knowing about the area as we’re on our road trip from Uk to Croatia. Saw the listing on Booking.com and the place looked exactly how we like and what we wanted for a while but couldn’t find elsewhere. Chalet sofija is nestled among the peaks of the Jura alps. Standing so grandly but so well blended in with the natural beauty around the mountains, we were blown away by it’s gorgeous architecture and tasteful decor and complete luxurious feel the moment we walked into the chalet. This is a super prime luxury property! When we arrived, we were greeted by the host and owner of chalet sofija Alessandra and her beloved dog Tracy. We have two dogs with us and they were delighted to have met new friends. The moment we walked in our jaws dropped by breathtaking view of the mountains with wide deck and infinity swimming pool which is heated 30 degree over looking the mountains and there are sauna and spa also looking over the magnificent view. Pope the owner and Alessandra definitely design so carefully and with no expense spared to make the most of benefits that the mountains give. There are big windows everywhere you’ll have panoramic view from every part of the chalet. Rooms- I almost cried when we walked into our room which also has panoramic view. it’s beyond my imagination how beautiful this huge room. Love how luxurious but at the same time you feel like you’re so close to nature. From the small amenities to super tech built in TV and remote controlled blinds system if necessary to have deep sleep. We also enjoyed fine dining experience by Pope who is renowned restauranteur in Slovenia. Breakfast & dinner both absolutely amazing we felt so pampered while we stayed. With it’s one of a kind view and style, I’m sure the season doesn’t matter!

Absolutely loved our stay at Gora Resort! The staff were incredibly friendly, the design was modern yet cozy, and the beds were exceptionally comfortable. We enjoyed the private jacuzzi — such a relaxing treat. The facilities were excellent, with secure garage parking and a perfect location that made everything easy and convenient. Truly an amazing and memorable stay!

House is located far outside the main road, which gaurantee peaceful relaxation. Sauna and jacuzzi are great addition which help rest after sightseeing nearby attractions. Location of the house is just perfect to start hiking through near trails. And the view which greets us every morning from the second floor is just like from fairy tale!

The key cards need to be collected in the hotel, just 2 minutes away from the apartment. There is a large shop (open till 19:00) at the main street, near the hotel. The bakery is also near, open early in the morning. The apartment for 3 people was extensive, with nice view. These are simple rooms, without any luxuries, but just to stay, have a nice sleep and to have a central stop to visit the area. The free paring is just outside the windows, everywhere. Gas station is in the same area. From the apartments there is a mac 5 min walk to the main promenade with shops, restaurants, bars, etc. But the most important is the view of the Alps, which you see, wherever you look.

Great place to have family leasure holiday. Breakfast and dinner were really good. The spa area is awesome, nice pool with great view over mountains. The location is 5min drive to the ski centre.

    Beautifull house with great garden, very well equipped kitchen. Calm place, where you can relax and enjoy looking at amazing mountains around you. Our kids loved jacuzzi and our dog loved the garden, where he could walk and run safely (the whole possesion is fenced). Very good contact with the host, who was very kind and helpful. Very clean place. Well located, bike roads 2 min from the house.

    Had a great stay at this cozy cabin! Loved the heated floors, outdoor jacuzzi, and the fact that it's pet-friendly. The host Miloš is amazing! Very quick responses, always helpful and friendly. Before our arrival he kindly prepared barbecue and preheated jacuzzi. Awesome mountain views, just a 10-minute drive to Kranjska Gora. The place had everything we needed and good coffee. Perfect spot for a chill getaway, with nearby attractions like waterfalls and skiing in winter. Highly recommend!
