How can you summarise the perfect stay?! From the moment we arrived at Ricardo’s beautiful home we felt completely relaxed. Ricardo made us feel incredibly welcome, he clearly loves hosting guests and this shows in each of the lovely little touches he added to our stay, it was beyond hotel quality. The house itself is its own special paradise, with a beautiful pool area and well maintained gardens surrounding. The delicious breakfast provided each day even included fruit and vegetables from his organic garden. Our advice would be to cut your time in Lisbon in half and instead stay twice as long at Ricardo’s and see more of Sintra - you won’t regret it. We look forward to coming back here.

This is the most beautiful and peaceful place to stay. The infinity pool is just perfect with amazing views to the coast. Our room was really comfortable and felt very private. Breakfast was excellent. Easy stroll to the village where there are several good restaurants.

This accommodation deserves a 10+ rating. The location is perfect, as is everything else it offers. The 4 of us stayed in this accommodation for 2 nights and we regret not having had more time to stay in the accommodation itself because Sintra itself is magical. The accommodation completes the Sintra experience and provides a unique feeling. The retro style is nicely combined with modern technology, with perfectly comfortable beds and a renovated bathroom, it provides literally everything that tourists need when visiting this unbelievable place. We enjoyed and are grateful for every moment spent in Sintra. All words of praise for the owners and their wonderful dog, both for communication and for hospitality because we felt like guests in their home. Thank you for everything Marija, George and Charley.

I had a fantastic stay. The palace is really interesting, historically and artistically. A real delight. It has an amazing blend of eclectic art / design / furniture etc , with the best technological facilities I've ever encountered.. brilliant. The hosts are super helpful and friendly.. Another important part of your experience here is "Charlie". He is the house dog and is absolutely the largest LARGEST Great Dane you have ever seen... I think 89 kg or 200 lbs!? The size of a small horse... His bark is very deep and loud.. but do not be afraid - he is also the most gentle, playful, happy dog you have ever met. Charlie will be so excited to greet you that he will bound towards you ..😆... Stay calm/ do not worry.. he is happy to see you! Charlie is a fabulous, handsome boy who enjoys a good pet/ scratch/ cuddle/massage. The palace is so lovely, you will not want to leave. It is located close to most attractions eg 20 minutes walk to the Quinta d Reguleira, and also to the many bars and restaurants for all your touristy needs.., and just beyond is the town with all the usual shops/ pharmacy etc where ALL the shopkeepers are also very happy to see you and help you with your needs/ purchases. A very good experience.

    A beautiful place in a secret hideaway in beautiful Sintra. Amazing space and was perfect to have our family around the pool, dining and lounge space. We felt very relaxed here for the four nights we stayed. The big room on the first floor was the perfect room for a bridal suite as I prepared for my wedding day, we couldn’t have picked a better spot.
