Beautiful location by the fast flowering river in the Center of the sacred valley. The hotel is set around and ancient hacienda with multiple courtyards, terraces and a museum and cinema. The gardens are perfection, the pool, lakes and island chapel all lovely. The spa is world class and the chef worthy of international recognition. And the staff……. In our experience Peruvians are the warmest and most welcoming of people and it seemed that the best of those traits were in abundance here.

I can’t express how much this hotel exceeded my expectations. I booked the room at a bargain rate for a property of this standard, but then also got a free upgrade to a jacuzzi suite and a transfer from Cusco. To say that we loved staying at Valle Del Sol is a gross understatement. We felt like the dearest guests, with the team attending to all our needs. The manager, Grimaldo, went above and beyond. Not only he picked us from Cusco airport personally, he also arranged us taxis, tours, special meals and helped me get medications as one of us was ill on arrival. The hotel is new, modern and beautiful. Everything is as described, and in perfect condition. Would love to stay here again.

Beautiful gardens and incredible service, much more than just a place to stay, we were treated to a Pachamama ceremony, baby Alpaca feeding, fire pit, our own private jacuzzi bubble bath run for us, great facilities and restaurant/bar on site! Incredible hotel nestled deep in the heart of Sacred Valley. Everything was top notch, including the explorations and gastronomy. Each meal was perfect and we loved learning about the ingredients from our wait staff. We had a lovely Pachamanca dinner on the final night and got to meet chef Manuel. All the staff were very friendly and we enjoyed our days doing small explorations and resting in our beautiful lodge. This was a perfect place to chill after all the traveling we did in Peru - thank you team Explora... we will be back!
