The best hotel in Cusco, is hands down, Antigua Casona. It is situated in the best area of Cusco, in the amazing old town centre, near to great spots for enjoying Peruvian cuisine. The hotel itself offers great dining opportunities in its lovely restaurant. Staff was amazing but what really blew our minds was the rooms, that offered luxury and modern notes while keeping the Peruvian style at its best. Great job, its not by luck the most wanted hotel in the area.

I stayed here with my sister for one week. We are Australians and in our thirties. We absolutely loved our time at Casa Cartegena. The staff were so welcoming and made great recommendations about local restaurants (food is incredible in Cusco). We really enjoyed our breakfast each morning in the tranquil garden (recommend the crepes!), and each evening Pisco sours together with delicious snacks were delivered to our room. Beds were very comfortable and made up each day, complete with chocolate on the pillow. One of the most enjoyable hotel stays of our lives!

Staff was incredible. They were so nice and accommodating. It was really one of the best experiences I've had in a hotel. We booked single rooms and ended up in the biggest beds I've ever seen. Breakfast was good, again, breakfast staff was lovely. My friend twisted his ankle while we were there and the staff was so caring and helped so much with handling the situation. Really, if you want to be in a place where the staff will take care of you, stay here.

I love it. The place is cosy, comfy and very close to center like 5 mins by walk. Also very quite at night so you can sleep well. And staff of the hotel was fantastic they are really helpful kind and welcoming.

    - Most welcoming staff who speak really good English and make you feel at home - The restaurant in the hotel is amazing and the breakfast is outstanding. They also provide to-go breakfast when you cannot make it - had the breakfast package ready for me 4am in the morning when i had to leave for the inca trail tour - Really beautiful rooms and gorgeous patio where you can chill and have a cocoa tea - Have to try their spa! Did the Inka healing one and the private jacuzzi /sauna is a must after a long hike
