Fantastic private location right on the waterfront but only 5 minutes drive from the wharf and town. Incredible view. Fabulous chalet ("chalet" doesn't do it justice, perfect for those who appreciate 70's/80's architecture with high ceilings and 45 degree angles. The 12-year-old called it "awesome" and said he wanted to live there forever). Two large bedrooms each with a huge ensuite, big well-equipped kitchen and convenient in-chalet laundry. Amazing outlook from large windows in all the rooms. Thoughtfully furnished. Lovely gardens and expansive balconies. A pool house which we didn't use, but good advice from the hosts on the best hot baths in town. Really helpful communication from the hosts, timely and upbeat, nothing too much trouble.

We liked the room we were upgraded to a 2 bedroom family room, there were lots of things on site for the kids to enjoy, especially the pool. The hosts could not have been friendlier or more accommodating. The Little Haven was close enough to everything we wanted, including a takeaway and a small grocery shop. All of the facilities were modern and new. A great place to stay at a reasonable price if you are in Taupo.

The host Peter was wonderful and welcoming. Location is amazing. Really a great stay, everything that we needed was there, neat, clean and tidy. Amazing view, pools were lovely. It felt like a 5 star experience.

    The suite had fabulous views right on the lake and had a small terrace to sit out on. The sitting area was spacious, with separate bedroom and a lovely jacuzzi bath and separate shower.

    Such an awesome getaway, nothing but relaxation. The staff are amazing, nothing was an issue. The room was perfect, view over the lake, spa bath with the sliding window to take in the view was great, excellent kitchenette facility. The jacuzzi and heated pool are simply perfect - 2 hrs lazy time in both areas, couldn't get enough, walking from our room in the provided robes and simply chill. 5 star experience. And a massive thanks to the staff and manager's.
