We booked Fairway Cottage for just one night, but as soon as we arrived, it felt like home. The cozy atmosphere, beautiful surroundings, and thoughtful amenities made it so easy to settle in. We ended up extending our stay for another day because we simply didn’t want to leave! The location is also very convenient, with easy access to many of Rotorua's top attractions. And also owner of the property is incredibly friendly and welcoming, adding a personal touch to our stay. It’s truly an amazing place, offering both comfort and charm. The value for money is exceptional, a must-stay if you’re tripping in Rotorua!

Everything! The hosts are lovely; the place is pristine clean, and comfortable. Shami is an excellent cook; you have to try her dinner, I did devour a whole lamb leg. I definitely recommend the place and will stay there at the next opportunity.

The location was close to everything. Kmart down the road, take away close by. Near the hwy for other Rotorua adventures. Check in was easy. The furniture is comfy. Beds were nice. The place was clean . The kitchen has everything you need including aluminium and plastic wrap. The host was very responsive when questions asked.

Wonderful staff member Tristen? My partner & I had unfortunate experience at another hotel & quickly booked in with Kings on Peace for the following night. Early the next morning I ring and tell Tristen about what happened & she immediately offered for us to drop our luggage off to her then (as our room was not ready yet) & carry on with our day. Adding to this, this lovely woman let us check in early before the appointed check-in time. We really felt she went above & beyond to make us feel welcomed and cared for. A very beautiful and modern unit. Spacious bathroom, huge wet floor shower with amazing pressure. Added bonus was having a 2in1 washing machine/drier. All necessary kitchen appliances (including coffee pod maker) and utensils with a dishwasher drawer. Comfortable bed & bedding and wardrobe for storage and nice to have a big TV to watch instead of squinting 😂. The best surprise though was the two-man spa pool on our own private deck, definitely ended the night right! 110% recommending this to anyone travelling to rotorua.

A wonderful, serene spot! We had a very relaxing time. The couple who managed the lodge were so kind and friendly and always doing everything they could to make our stay enjoyable. The breakfast was delicious and abundant, with so much variety of food. We definitely hope to return.

What a gem! I was looking for accommodation in Rotorua and this option stood out. This is one of my best stays in New Zealand so far, I was truly impressed with the quality of facilities. Everything is brand new, the room is nicely equipped with a kitchenette. Even though it doesn't have a stove, I discovered an air fryer in a cupboard! The beds are huge, the room is very spacious, Woolworths is just a 2min drive. Huge respect to the owners who did a fantastic job.

    Staff were very friendly and helpful with a gorgeous reception and lounge area. The spa pools were fantastic to relax and warm up in as it was a bit cool and rainy out. The location is great as well. Had a nice selection of foods for breakfast and coffee/tea/drinking chocolate in the room also. Good amount of counter space in the washroom for doing hair/makeup. AC worked great to keep the room at a comfortable temp for us without being too loud.

    Awesome stay with my partner. Bed was comfortable and facilities were clean. Jacuzzi and sauna room was relaxing and it was good that it was separated from the main pool due to noise levels.
