Exceptional house with lots of space and great amenities. Breathtaking view on the mountains out of one of the bedroom’s windows. Very convenient location to visit and do Tongariro crossing. Steve is very welcoming and helpful host. Definitely a gem in the area!

Absolutely loved our stay here! Our room was beautiful and we loved soaking in the hot tub and listening to the river in the evening. The breakfast and treats were much appreciated! Highly recommend!

Apparently the rooms were renovated 5 years ago but they are still spotless. Real quality in the kitchen, wonderful comfortable bed and the first bathroom on our trip that didn’t have some sort of issue, in fact it was super. Great location, super friendly and helpful hosts , I doubt there’s much better comfort and value in Okakune .

All the amenities were functioning and excellently maintained. The room size was superb. The apartment's location was excellent. The hot tub and sauna were really nice. There were plenty of nice restaurants , convenience stores and attractions nearby. Parking was available and convenient. The staff members were attentive and helpful and gave us some great tips for sightseeing and shopping.

    The view was incredible, the hot tub amazing and the the cabin itself a dream. We loved the pool table, piano and the kitchen and pantry were very spacious and a joy to cook in.

    Nice and quiet remote location! Those outdoor fire heated baths are just amazing! A lot of kithen utensils for cooking and baking and a lot of games to entertain the whole families. Also a big bonus for all, no wi-fi and no screens, so you can really relax and be together with nature👌
