The location was quiet but conveniently located close to Greymouth. It's a short drive from the beautiful Hokitika Gorge and Glowworm Dell. The one-bedroom apartment was one of only 4 (plus one studio) was spacious, clean and very quiet! We could photograph stars and the Milky Way at night. The birdlife is abundant, even with some resident wekas. We shared a most delicious BBQ dinner with the hosts Jolene and Andrew, who really made us feel at home! Thank you very much for offering us this wonderful stay.

Excellent Lodge, with history (from 1927). Excellent breakfast, good beds and spacious bathroom. Pool-room, living-room where you an meet other guest. It feels like coming home.
