Our stay at Gyedong Hanok 125 was truly exceptional. The spacious dining table easily fit our whole family, making meals and conversations a joy. The hanok is newly built yet fully equipped with modern amenities, so we enjoyed both the beauty of tradition and the comfort of convenience. The location is unbeatable—right on lively Gyedong-gil, with bakeries, cafés, gift shops, and restaurants just steps away. Major cultural spots like the National Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art, the Museum of Korean Craft, and Insadong are all within walking distance. What made it unforgettable was relaxing in the courtyard patio, looking up at the pine tree while soaking in the peaceful atmosphere. A rare oasis in the middle of Seoul. Highly recommended for anyone wanting an authentic yet comfortable hanok stay.

That is an awesome place! Rooms are not that big but very well thought and equipped. The SPA is cheap and very relaxing. Having an option to play games as a couple makes this cosy hotel a perfect option for short time visit to Seoul. And the staff is so friendly, top notch hospitality

I love my experience in this little hanok. It feels very new with all the necessities. The hanok is spotlessly clean with quality amenities, the Bose speaker and the projector worked very well and added a nice touch to our stay. I especially love the bath. It’s such a special experience. There’s also a lot to explore in this unique neighbourhood, while being very convenient to connect to the whole city.

    Surprisingly spacious for a standard twin room and a bathroom with a bath tub and shower. Comfy beds too. Fab breakfast - such a shame we couldn't eat much as it was 6.30am before leaving for the airport. On the whole, it was a relaxing and comfortable stay.

    Booked a Twin room and was upgraded to a large jacuzzi room. The room size was beyond our expectations for what we were finding in Seoul. The Twin beds were comfortable and there was still enough room for 2 travel cases to be opened without feeling cramped. Appreciated the huge spacious bathroom and the good amount of toiletries supplied. Location close to transport and eateries etc Helpful staff

    The location and the surroundings, just behind the hotel there is a super yummy korean bbq, the room was great also, it comes with a jacuzzi for a relax bath 😀 the room is spacious enough for a family of four.
