The room was very clean, spacious by Japanese standards, and offered serene traditional atmosphere blended seamlessly with modern conforms. There was a terrace with a beautiful view adding on to the comfort of the room. The dinner was traditional Japanese-style and for sure it should not be missed! The multi-course kaiseki meal was beautifully presented and very delicious, including fresh, local, seasonal ingredients. The hotel's location is good for visiting the Itsukushima Torii (Water gate) as it is just one station away from it but at the same time away from the madness of the island.

This is a lovely hotel in a great location. Easy to get from the train station by tram and very close to the main shopping area. A nice walk to the Peace Park.

The resort was really nice and staff very helpful. We booked deluxe suite for 2 nights and I would happily come back again any time I'm around. The private villa is situated in a peaceful spot just outside the main tourist pull of Miyajima. The building has been very well renovated and brought up to modern standards all within traditional Japanese design and architecture. The interior of the home is well distributed, bright and fresh. The layout has been well considered and there is a large amount of space inside. The bathroom and external plunge pool were a life saver during the extremely hot (37 deg c) August when visiting. The plunge pool is located in a small, well lit, private enclosure with views of the large Acer trees above. The villa has a bar, a stocked fridge of drinks, ice and various teas and coffees.
