The location is great...5 minutes walk from the Ufizi Museum, Duomu at 8 minutes walk, dozens of great restaurants at walk distance.... The staff was really thoughtful and even had a portuguese speaking person at the hotel reception. The room was incredible, spacious and with free amenities (apart from alcohol).

This hotel is my favorite in Florence. I come to Florence 3-5 times a year, and this is my first choice every time, unless there is no room. The hotel is TOP 1 in my heart in terms of service, breakfast, and various facilities. I highly recommend it.

The hotel is just excellent. The stuff is very friendly, everything is shining, room service was just perfect. The spa and pool was very clean and neat. The location is very convenient, close to all the main sights, though the neighborhood is very quiet.

We had a wonderful time in Casaldo’s rooms. The room was spacious and had everything we needed.The owners were a lovely couple. They helped us a lot with the reservations for the museums and offered us a nearby place to rent a car from. If you have an early flight they will let you drop off your luggage as soon as you are in Florence, despite that the check-in is after 16.
