We went to Diamante for the Pepperoncini Festival(well worth the visit just for that) and just needed a place to stay. Hotel Ferretti was a pleasant surprise that exceeded our expectations considerably. The hotel and rooms were immaculate, we had rooms with large balconies overlooking the ocean, and it was a 10 minute walk to the center of town. The hotel caters mostly to European travelers and we were the only Americans but every staff member was very gracious and helpful even with a bit of a language challenge. The hotel has a private beach which included complimentary umbrella and beach chairs and a bar/restaurant is on the beach, as well. There are also other incredible beaches nearby and would recommend having a car if possible.

Francesco is the perfect host and La Perla Nascosta is a hidden gem with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Plus, it's only a short walk from the the beach and centre. Private parking included too. I hope to stay again soon.
