Almost everything about this hotel was quality. The common areas where open and airy with high ceilings covered in decorative clay tiles and comfortable seating. The gardens were beautifully laid out and maintained. All staff were friendly and helpful. I had the most wonderful massage too. Each evening there is an hour of music in the lobby. Indian classical on the evening we were there. The pool overlooking the lake was such a treat with the added bonus of magnificent sunsets. There is security staff too and a maned gate at the entrance. Even though the hotel is located at bit remotely, the quiet road allows for some peaceful strolls in the surrounding area.

Sitting by the picturesque Vembanad Lake, the charming Taj Kumarakom Resort and Spa is housed in a colonial bungalow built in the late 1800s.

We booked 3 days at Ameya and added an extra one. Amazing garden, top notch bungalow and great swimming pool overviewing the lake. 4 times upclass dinner served at our own bungalow and we once took the opportunity to join the chef delivering his masterpieces. Everything perfect because of Anish (always ready to explain Indian history and Kerala culture) and his staff constantly running the extra mile and then doing one more. Highly recommended!

The property is located bang on the beach, as close as it can get, with a beautiful view of the beach !! We loved the place, the rooms, the food and the hospitality !! Everything was just perfect...Anisha and Sony are amazing hosts and just felt like a family with their warmth and went that extra mile to take care of the guests.
