Great rooms, excellent views and an extremely hospitable host sums up our stay here. The hotel itself is at a height with views of the Prespa lake and the village from the very large balcony adjoining the room. The room itself is very large with a large bathroom with high quality amenities. There is a provision for tea and coffee in the room with a small restaurant for breakfast and coffee above a flight of stairs. We arrived to a warm welcome by the host and greeted with hot coffee. Cookies just out of the oven were served free. Breakfast was prepared by the hostess’ mom and it was very elaborate, freshly made and delicious. We were not aware of this and had requested an early breakfast at 6.30 am and felt a bit bad about waking her up so early. However she was all smiles and spoke to us about India in Greek through her interpreter (daughter). They invited our guide for breakfast though he was staying somewhere else. There is a restaurant in the village about 5-7 mins walk from the property that’s very lively and serves great food.

Great host, makes you feel welcome in his own family place. The house is very spacious, decorated with taste, very well kept and super clean, with a great garden and barbeque place. The village of Flambouro has a unique charm, with a 5min walk you can find a small mini-market (with the bare necessities), and there are two cafes/taverns as well. Florina is just a 10 minute drive, and the location is great to explore the area, from Nymfaio to Prespes. We are grateful for our visit and hope that we will come back in the future.
