We were kept up to date by the host regularly with all the information we required. The house was very clean, comfortable and nicely decorated. There were some lovely extras like coffee and toiletries which were much appreciated. The property was situated in a good place with a fish and chip shop opposite which was welcomed after a long journey. I would definitely recommend this property.

The breakfast was great, food, staff and dining room was extremely pleasant. I’d been wanting to stay at Shrigley for years and my stay exceeded my expectations. The room with the view overlooking the front was amazing and I particularly enjoyed and appreciated the original features and history of the building it has a real Downton Abbey feel to it. Perfect stay. The place had a really ‘homey’ feel to it and was perfect for what we needed. The hosts were really quick at answering any questions no matter if I messaged or by phone call. I only stayed for one night and wish I stayed for more, if I am ever up in Manchester again I will 100% be booking again.

We loved our stay here. Way out on beautiful pastureland with gorgeous views. A hot tub to enjoy, a magnificent bathroom - the BEST breakfast and a gentle and gracious and very kind host!
