Genuinely could not fault this place! It’s like a little piece of paradise and, despite having lodges either side of our lodge (we were in lodge 2) it felt like you were a million miles away from everything and everyone. Lodge was comfortable, cozy, romantic and immaculate and had every little home comfort you could need. The views were gorgeous and I can’t rate the hot tub high enough. I felt so relaxed from the minute I checked in and that feeling continued until the minute we checked out. Nikki was great at answering my billion questions in the lead up to our stay and was always polite and accommodating. If we could have stayed forever we would have. Highly recommend!

Gorgeous property. Beautiful interiors and waiting rooms. The room we booked had a lovely view facing nature. Very happy with the breakfast.

Food was excellent! Tasting menu on Wednesday evening was a fantastic last night prior to our departure and we really enjoyed our stay. the staff were extremely helpful, special mention for Jamie and Rebecca and Arthur the Conceirge.

The staff in this hotel were super friendly and helpful. The restaurant had an excellent chef, so we enjoyed some excellent meals and a fabulous breakfast. The pool and fitness centre was very clean and well equipped and there was also a great hot jacuzzi and steam room. It was a very short walk to the town centre, bus stop and train station.

I was here on a break with my mother who had not been able to use any leisure facilities for a number of years due to ill health and mobility issues. She was keen to give it a go and we found the leisure facilities extremely accessible for her. The family room was spacious for her walker and we found it all very relaxing and enjoyable.

Orchid lodge features a hot tub and free private parking, and is within 34 km of Castle Menzies and 7.2 km of Blair Castle.

We had a wonderful (though unfortunately far too short) stay at this lovely holiday home at the gateway to the Scottish Highlands. The view is absolutely stunning – and enjoying it from the hot tub was a real highlight! There’s a peaceful sheep herd grazing right next door, which made the experience even more special and relaxing. We visited the Falls of Bruar and Loch Tummel during our stay – both are close by and well worth seeing. Sadly, we only stayed for one night, but we would have loved to stay longer. It's the perfect place to unwind and take in the beauty of nature. Highly recommended!
