Hotels with Hot tubs in Lochinver

Room was well appointed, comfortable and very clean. We loved the breakfast formula of picking what items you want (and the choices were very varied) and eating in your room. We had a nice table set by the picture window overlooking the mountains. It was so lovely. Host was welcoming. Good restaurant options nearby.

This place is a dream. A plants and trees and flowers paradise (inside and outside). Quiet and safe. Renovated with a maximum of finesse and good taste. Even the TV can be set as a painting of your choice while not in functions. The room no 3 (ours) had as a surprise a brand new marmer bathroom with a comfortable jacuzzi for 2 and a separate shower. The light, fresh and healthy breakfast is served in a charming covered veranda by the owners themselves. They gave us very good tips as what to do next day and where to dine. When I forgot my little handbag by departure, they contacted me as fast as they found out and send it in my next hotel by post mail.

A wonderful property in a stunning location. Modern amenities inside but the character has been kept. Even visiting while it was raining, the garden and decking was lovely, plus the clever idea for a table on the decking. We only stayed one night but easily could have stayed more. It's a really clean, thought out property which you can see the owner has taken pride in doing. The welcome guide sent virtually days before was really helpful too. Highly recommend.

The setting is stunning. During the day you stare out at the Loch watching boats and the occasional hint of sea life popping up. At night the lights of Lochinver terrible in the distance while deer and other wildlife wander around the trees (bring a torch if you want to see them). The trees either side keep you fairly private from the other properties around about and to feel like you're in your own little private cabin away from the world. On the porch you have a water jet hot tub facing the view, a log burning chiminea (with 2 easy light fire logs provided) and a Ninja Woodfire for cooking which works as a grill, air fryer, dehydrater and smoker. The porch is fully covered by the perspex roof means you can still look to the stars and get the sun during the day. We sat outside watching the fire burn, listening to sounds of nature around us for hours. So peaceful, and excellent at this time of year with the longer nights. With the fire burning and the hot tub running the porch remains pretty warm, but you'll probably want to grab some firewood as the log burns for a maximum of 1.5 hours and isn't hugely warm on its own. You can purchase more from the owners or the shops in Lochinver sell kindling and larger logs. I can't stress how lovely the setting is considering how close you are to other peripheries when you take a walk around. You'd honestly never know when you're in there. Inside the pod there's everything you need. An electric fire/heater, comfy big double bed, TV with netflix etc, wet room shower and bathroom, air fryer, kettle and various cutlery and cookware. Power outlets have usb ports for easy charging of your devices and there's a small table and stools if you want to eat inside. I won't lie, we spent minimal time inside. We slept, showered and got changed, but the setting just encourages you to sit outside.

It was very secluded with a beautiful view of the ocean, but still near the town of Lochinver. It was clean and very cozy! Fully equiped kitchen and even some TV streaming services available. We will definitely come back!

The cabin has everything you could think of to make your stay comfortable. It’s so homely you don’t want to leave to go exploring! The bed is super comfortable and all the little touches just make it. We will be bad soon for another stay. We travelled up in stormy weather and the hot tub was just what was needed after a long drive!!

Waterloo House is probably the best place that we have stayed in when in Scotland. There is lots of room and all 3 bedrooms have excellent en suites. The view from the living room is amazing. Who doesn't like to see a deer on the top of a rock with lochinver harbour in the background. I almost dont want to say how good it is as I dont want anyone booking the times we wish to go back.

Fabulous property in a stunning setting

Beautiful place in a stunning location, private and remote but close to the facilities if needed. The chalet is very well maintained and equipped. We could have not asked for a better stay.
