    Bedroom was quite big, bed was comfortable. Bedroom overlooking the peaceful pretty garden with Appleby nearby. Decor looked fresh. The bathroom was very small but had a jacuzzi bath. The toiletries were high on the wall hence not well positioned for use in the bath. We ate in the bistro which was pleasant and staff good. All fresh decor. Breakfast was nice. Reception staff efficient and friendly, a map was provided. facilitating a nice morning walk around the area. (the reception layout was poor).

    Loved absolutely everything....enjoyed time in the spa...lovely cocktails...very attentive staff....so relaxing...enjoyed an excellent evening meal in the bistro..very comfortable clean beds...lovely grounds...Will definitely be back

    Lovely room in a nice old fashioned building. Well set up, and fun to find a jacuzzi bath in the room! Staff very friendly and welcoming. Lovely views out over fields and to valley and hills.

    Lovely quiet relaxing place to stay. Good size rooms. Great quality food. Spa with outside hot tubs was amazing.
