The place was extremely cosy, child friendly and very quiet all around. The cottage is beside a farm so you are surrounded by cows. Perfect environment if you want a feel of being in a remote location. The host was very nice and welcoming.

The beautiful cottage it was very cosy, just perfect for a night away .. to get the batteries charged.The hot tub was a big bonus, too 😀. The views around the cottage were stunning!. We brought our dog as well she enjoyed it too.

The house was exceptional 👌🏼 so clean and set in the beautiful countryside, the hosts were lovely and I can't fault our stay at all.there were 12 of us and everyone was made up with the place. We are definitely looking to come back!

    The property was very clean and spacious. There’s a roof terrace, patio and lovley back garden area. The house has two Lovley bathrooms one which has a luxurious bath . The kitchen is fully equipped .

    Location was brilliant and relaxing. The jacuzzi was fantastic and very relaxing. The wood burning stoves where all set and ready for us to light. Very clean and good facilities such as the kitchen, shower room and the outside wooden sitting areas. Brilliant cottage and value for money. Would highly recommend it.

    We had the best stay at Carrick Cottage. It was a great spot to relax after a days hiking. The hot tub was great and the cottage was lovely and cosy. One of my favourite stays in Ireland, we'll definitely be back!

    The location of the property is beautiful ! The property itself was charming, plenty of towels provided for guests, plenty of logs for the indoor fire & outdoor log burning hot tub, the hot tub itself was fantastic and is the main reason we booked this property. There is plenty of space for guests to enjoy within the property & surrounding areas. If you are looking a break from city life, Sage Gables is the place to go! Rachael and her husband were at hand and were so very helpful, they are wonderful hosts.

    The property is in a fabulous location, 3 good size bedrooms, kitchen, bathroom & lounge. Garden had swings, slide & climbing rope for children, the hot tub was a brilliant bonus for adults to relax in each evening. Nothing was too much trouble for Roisin, she provided a travel cot & high chair. The welcome box including wine & products the fridge was a lovely surprise. Would highly recommend for anyone who wanted to visit & explore the Mourne Mountains & surrounding areas
